About us

Centrum Basiseducatie Brusselleer is a centre for adult basic education, which is part of the Flemish department of education. Brusselleer is the Brussels-based institution for adult literacy in Dutch.

The centre organises open courses for adults with a low degree of education e.g. literacy, maths, social orientation, ICT and also offers tailor-made modules. The lessons take place at different locations in the Brussels Capital Region. Brusselleer also organises language and literacy coaching in vocational training and educational courses for parents of children in Dutch-speaking primary schools.

Brusselleer has a broad network of institutions and organisations and cooperates with all relevant Belgian partners in adult education.
